There was time for the group picture. On the right is Kuno Mueller. He and his wife were senior missionaries here in Albania when Mom and I first arrived. They live in Switzerland and drove down for the Boys and Girls Camps and the YSA Conference. They loved their experience as missionaries and have stayed in contact with many of the Albanian Saints.
We had workshops. Most were taught by the young adults themselves, but Mom and I did do one workshop. On front row is Albi, Ergina, Roan, Endrit, Marsela, Kamryn (our daughter who was visiting us for the week) and Mom. On the 2nd row between Endrit and Marsela is Julia Potter. Her mother and her Uncle Bob and Mom attended Chatsworth High School together. She is living in Kosovo with a married sister for the next 3 months.
Another workshop with Renaldo, Grisi, Besmir, Juli, Marsida, Elona in the picture.
We had lots of fun at the workshops. On front row Alma Osmëni, her brother Albi, Ergina etc. We had our own conference room at the New York Hotel in Vlore. Most of the room looked out over the Adriatic Sea.
On Friday morning we had service projects. Some of the young adults went street contacting, others cleaned a beach and a 3rd group visited a mental rehabilitation facility. I was with the 3rd group and we took some of the patients on field trip to a local Vlore museum. In the above photograph on the left are 3 of our young adults, Nervila, Laureta and Alketa.  The desk they are standing behind is the desk upon which the 1912 Constitution of Albania was signed in to law and Albania became an independent nation after World War I.
