There are lots of street vendors in Tirana. There are many fruit and vegetable stands. We have bought things you can peel and eat. We're still a little worried about lettuce and salads in restaurants etc.  The above picture of olives has about 15 different varies in the buckets. 




You'll see many older women with scarves covering their heads. They are muslims but most would tell you that they are not "practicing" muslims


Every Albanian wants to sell. Some have their stores in their car trunks. Others will be selling roasted corn or in this case chestnuts on the sidewalks.
