Well, its my birthday today, October 14, 2008. Mom and I studied Shqip this morning and then went for a walk about town. Man with small fruit stand has just caught, with his bare hands, a pigeon. I think he's going to have a good meal tonight. I'm standing next to fountain in front of restaurant where we ate lunch. I had a ham pizza, its a safe bet. And so far I've had no stomach problems. Mom is doing well too.
Also I've attached picture of a small kids park which is near our apartment. Harry, Margaux and Paisley better get here soon so I can take them for a ride on the carousel.
Here is picture of Mom standing over small river which runs through town. Its called the Lana, that may be short for lavatory, because it smells pretty bad.
We'll be meeting with our tutor later today and then teach a small english class for some students who want to go to the US but first must pass the TOEFL examination. Love to all, dad

Elder and Sister Shupe, you look great. I almost got Elder shupe confused with the young elders in the lunch picture. It is amazing how quickly life and our focus can change. I'll have to go and get a #4 in Elder Shupe's honor. We're praying for you. Love Jim Rosell
